Syria's nocturnal demonstrations

Nocturnal protests in Syria

SYRIA - Over the past four months, international media has been reporting on the demonstrations and violence in Syria through social networks, militants, testimonies and word of mouth.
Most of the events that are making headlines take place during the day. However, it has come to our attention that the most important events in Syria have been taking place at night.
Civilians see it as an opportunity to assemble and march at night, because in the end, the Syrian army needs to rest at one point or another.
"These nocturnal demonstrations have not been the center of attention of the media," according to one witness. "International media is concerned with what the foreign embassies are doing, not with what the Syrian people is going through," he added.
According to @SyrianJasmine, "demonstrations are taking place right now (Midnight) in Douma, thousands of participants are chanting and expressing their support with Homs".
@SyRevNews says that nocturnal "demonstrations and protests" are ongoing in the cities of "DeirEzzor" (East) and "Deraa" (South) despite the crackdown of the army on the protesters.
@Shaamnews also reported such protests in the middle of the night in most of the Idlib governorate, north of Syria.
"We are demonstrating 24/7 - we won't stop until we get what we want," said one protester.
